28-year-old Londoner Shygirl is a fluid artist who raps, DJs, producers and writes to dirty beats, her language can be equally dirty, particularly on her latest single BDE (Big Dick Energy) which features UK rapper Slow Thai.
Shygirl has been empowering women with her no boundaries bangers for the past 5 years. Just as she was about the break-through having grown a following on the club scene the COVID-19 pandemic happened and Shygirl’s career was put on pause. Shygirl has been releasing music since 2016 on NUXXE, the label she co-found with Sega Bodega, and Coucou Chloe.
Her debut EP Cruel Practice was released in May 2018 and between then and last November she’s been releasing singles, leading up to her second EP ALAIS. 2021 looks to be the breakthrough year for this multi-talented star who features on Lady GaGa’s remix album (Dawn of Chromatica), BDE has been blowing up, Rihanna is a fan and festival appearances this summer has put the star in front of new audiences.
